Who We Are:
Schattenglanz is a musical project from Germany, founded in the spring of 2024 by Tiana and Josh Molot, two music enthusiasts with a shared passion for atmospheric sound and emotional melodies. Our influences are deeply rooted in the defining sounds of the 1980s and range from Depeche Mode to New Order and Kraftwerk. We blend iconic elements from past decades with modern pop and electronic sounds.

Musical Influences:
Our music reflects the spirit of legendary bands from the synthpop and new wave era. The melancholic depth of Depeche Mode, the avant-garde sounds of Kraftwerk, and the unforgettable groove of bands like New Order inspire us to create a dark yet driving soundscape.

Latest Release:
Our first single is a cover version of the classic “Halo” by Depeche Mode. We have infused the song with a fresh, dynamic energy, wrapping it in a pop-dance arrangement that preserves the essence of the original while letting it shine through our unique interpretation. Our goal was to reimagine Halo in a way that resonates with both longtime fans and new listeners, presenting the song’s distinctive atmosphere in a modern light.
